Hana Zagorová (6 September 1946 – 26 August 2022)[1] was a Czech singer-songwriter, actress, and presenter who had recorded music since 1964. She won the national Zlatý slavík music award on nine occasions between 1977 and 1985,[2] the second highest number of victories in the award's history, after Lucie Bílá, who won the successor award, Český slavík, thirteen times.[3]
Biography
[edit]In 1977, Zagorová signed the "Antichart", a petition opposing Charter 77.[4]
Zagorová suffered from paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria and experienced complications related to COVID-19 in 2020.[5] She died on 26 August 2022 at the age of 75 after a cruel disease.[6]
