Hi Bijee

SAVE A.K Antony. Last day some people maligned his profile by adding remarks of vandalism. They are trying to impose their political blindness upon others.

Matthew Mankuzhikary

[edit]

I copied the full bibliographic record below on the only book by Matthew Mankuzhikary I could find in the Library of Congress catalogue. I also searched the British Library but did not find anything. It might be a transcription problem. Do you think you can find anything more and add it to the page? / u p p l a n d 00:39, 18 Jan 2005 (UTC)

vandalism

[edit]

Do you think it was outright vandalism? It looks very POV, but I'm not sure I'd classify it as vandalism. When in doubt, I refrain from reverting. Everyking 00:24, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Cochin Jews

[edit]

Your edit to "significant populations" in the infobox of Cochin Jews doesn't make sense. Please look again. I'm not sure what you meant to do, but as it stands you are claiming the USA is in Kerala!

Also, 52 is a very precise number, I assume you have a source, please indicate it. -- Jmabel | Talk 01:26, Feb 6, 2005 (UTC)

I was told those numbers by my friend who is a Traditional Cochin Jew, and two of their relatives are now living in USA, whos families in India have no plan migrate to Israel now, so they are still Malayalee/Keralite. Bijee 00:23, 7 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I reverted your edit as nothing has been finalized or discussed further. So the discussion should happen inline with the policy. Burgundavia 05:59, Apr 30, 2005 (UTC)

Edit summaries on Xiangqi

[edit]

Your recent edit summary on Xiangqi, "rv 68.14.62.73, pl. go and sleep or get ready for school" could be construed as a personal attack. Please do not denigrate other editors, no matter how much you disagree with them. Civility is key to keeping Wikipedia working smoothly. Gwalla | Talk 21:09, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Greetings Bijee. Actually, I wasn't commenting on anything that you or the other editors were debating, it was just that the article when I read it seemed fine to me, and didn't seem to require an npov tag, so I removed it. I did place a "controversial" tag on the article's talk page, however, which is an invitation to more collaborative editing from everyone. Fire Star 04:46, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Edit War for kalaripayattu??

[edit]

Unfortunately, I agree with you that we are in an edit war but the person initiating it is you, Bijee. I actually have a Ph.D in Asian history with a specialty in Indian and Chinese history. I drink tea, practice the martial arts, play chinese chess, am a practicing Buddhist, and do not appreciate your biased pro-Indian views on history. You are editing all of these pages and other pages to reflect your personal views regardless of what it states in historical textbooks. Kennethtennyson

Lots of new articles

[edit]

Bijee,
I see you've created almost one hundred new articles recently. While I admire your enthusiasm, have you considered who will maintain them, or the fact that (in their current form) they are not up to Wikipedia standards?

replied at your page

Thanks for that reply. Often people do "fire and forget", and never go back to check if anyone is actually updating thier pages, so I tend to ask that same question of anyone who's making lots of pages. Happy Wiki-ing!

List of Chief Ministers is Empty

[edit]

A tag has been placed on List of Chief Ministers of Himachal Pradesh, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
